This collection of 150 full colour illustrated recipes are the result of decades of careful experimentation with ingredients and flavours. As a strict vegetarian, a young Savitaben spent her formative years learning the craft of producing freshly-cooked meals while living in Kitale, Kenya. She learned the basics of Gujarati cooking from her mother, and is used to cooking on a large scale. Sometimes spending up to three days refining and perfecting a recipe, Savitaben strives to create great food. She has skilfully fused modern methods and styles of cooking with decade-old recipes to bring you a delightful array of modern Indian dishes, with quick and easy to follow recipes.

Inspired by the traditional all-night concerts along India’s Ganges River, Sun to Stars evokes the traditional durbar and bethak-style concerts where performers and audiences interact in an informal setting to create an intimate artistic experience. With a backdrop defined by both natural and urban elements, the performers present work that grapples with the environment, be it through mythological folktales or a particular raga connected to nature.

The Sun to Stars festival is solar-powered by the energy collected by the photovoltaic panels on the Solar 1 roof. The event also features a market place that includes regional South Asian cuisine from local chefs, Indian style seating with floor rugs and cushions, and information about important local South Asian and environmental nonprofit organizations.

In the western cruising area, southeast winds generally prevail in the summer months. In the eastern cruising area, including Menorca, winds are generally from the north and northwest throughout the year. East Mallorca to Menorca winds are northwest and Ibiza to West Mallorca, east to southeast winds are common from 5 to 15 knots. The area enjoys a dry, mild climate year-round with some rain in April.
